b. 1999, North East England.
Chanelle Love is a multidisciplinary artist currently residing in London where she is studying BA Fine Art @ Central Saint Martins.
Having grown up in Yorkshire, on an estate with one of the highest numbers of poverty and crime in the city, Chanelle's works present themselves as complex acts of protest.
Art as life.
Art as Social Change.
Art and narrative.
Art and Accessibility.
Art and reformation.
Works span from painting, photography, sculpture, video and performance. Durational performances act out experience & narrative, and so, her work often carries out elements of naivety and humour to subtly subvert the truths of authorship and legality, and authority.
